Intentional Interim Pastor
Dr. Paul LeeDr. Paul Lee was unanimously called to be Bethel's Intentional Interim Pastor on January 30, 2011. Paul comes to us having served four churches as senior pastor, and three previous Baptist churches in Virginia, as Intentional Interim Pastor. During the interim period he, along with a Transition Team, will guide the church through five phases of the intentional interim process. Paul is certified through the highly regarded program of The Center for Congregational Health, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In a statement of his calling, he writes: As an experienced pastor and multifaceted minister, with the excellent training afforded to me through the Center for Congregational Health, I welcome the opportunity to become a part of the pilgrimage of faith which leads the people of God to consider their rich heritage, celebrate what God is presently doing among them, and enthusiastically embrace the exciting opportunities toward which God is directing them in future leadership and ministry. Dr. Lee and his wife Anna, a retired Middle School teacher-librarian, reside in Chesterfield County. They have two adult children and one grandchild. We welcome Dr. Lee to the Bethel family. |

Associate Pastor
Rev. Elizabeth Withers
"Eli" has been our youth director since 1997. She grew up in West Virginia as a preacher's kid. Eli graduated from Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond and was hired full time in 2001. Her duties keep expanding beyond the usual pace of ministering to our youth group with special events. |

Peggy has been serving Bethel since 1987. We all know what Peggy does. We found that out when she got sick one day. When you look up the word "secretary" in the dictionary, you'll find her picture listed as well.

Cathy has been with us since 1998. Her love for the Lord and this church are clearly heard every time she plays. Although she is in the background of the service, we have appreciated the important gift she brings to uplift our congregation every Sunday.
